Desert Jet Charter is both a charter operator as well as an aircraft charter broker, with access to a worldwide affiliate network comprised of hundreds of aircraft, enabling us to provide lift virtually anywhere, anytime, in any type of aircraft.
Our clientele includes a wide mix of our society; from former Presidents, Vice-Presidents, Governors, Secretaries of State and Defense, to small businesses, entrepreneurs, Fortune 500 companies, private individuals, retirees, celebrities, professional athletes, musicians and even pets!
Desert Jet was founded in 2007 offering aircraft sales and acquisition services as well as aircraft management services. In 2009, Desert Jet received Federal Aviation Administration certification as an air carrier, enabling
several local aircraft owners to place their aircraft into revenue operations.
Desert Jet operates under its own FAA Part 135 certificate, 1DJA318M, with operating authority from Transport Canada and the Canadian Transportation Agency for charter flights to and from Canada, as well as overflight authority granted by Customs and Border Protection for Southern U.S. Border crossings.
The company is operated and managed by a National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) designated Certified Aviation Manager. This certification status (CAM) is granted by the National Business Aviation Association to select aviation industry professionals that have demonstrated their expertise in managing all aspects of the operations of business aircraft.

Desert Jet was one of the first jet charter providers in the world to become IS-BAO certified, exceeding a global industry safety standard. IS-BAO stands for “International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations”. This code of best practices was introduced by the International Business Aviation Council and has been widely adopted as the worldwide gold standard for business aircraft operations. It is similar to the ISO-9000 quality management standards in the manufacturing industry. The IS-BAO has been endorsed by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) as well as multinational organizations worldwide.
Desert Jet has attained IS-BAO Stage III, signifying a commitment to excellence and safety that few charter operators have achieved.
Desert Jet is Wyvern recommended and a member of the Wyvern Wingman Alliance. The Wyvern Standard is a safety standard whose requirements far exceed regulatory requirements for air charter flight operations and maintenance. Each operator recommended by Wyvern undergoes annual Wyvern audits to ensure that their operational and maintenance practices continue to meet or exceed The Wyvern Standard. In addition, each operator is monitored throughout the year for management, fleet and crew changes.
Desert Jet is rated Platinum. The prestigious Platinum rating is ARGUS’ highest level of safety ratings and is awarded only to those air charter operators who have demonstrated successful implementation of industry best safety practices in operations and maintenance.
Desert Jet participated in an onsite audit of its operations and maintenance procedures to earn this distinction.
Currently only 115 charter operators out of the several thousand certificated operators in the United States hold the ARGUS Platinum safety rating.

Had a great flight yesterday. The pilots were amazing. Got us thru a storm and wind with hardly a bump. Very impressive.
The trip was great. We were scheduled to depart at 9:00am. My parents arrived at the Bermuda Dunes Airport around 8:15. The pilots were ready a long time before that. They asked if we wanted to leave early and we got my father loaded up in the jet and left 8:30am. You couldn’t do that with a commercial flight. The pilots were very courteous and professional. They made us feel safe and comfortable before the flight and during the flight.
I used to charter from other companies, until I met the personnel from Desert Jet. I haven’t flown with anybody else in the last 10 years. Desert Jet is an organization that puts safety first, and I appreciate their professionalism.
They are professional; they care about what they do. It’s a top notch organization right here in our backyard.
